I can remember during the election campaign how everyone cried out to the government that they wanted change, and they wanted the government to fix their problems. Problems from as small as obese children to as large as the health care and the sinking economy.
How people cried out to the government and accused them of not caring, not doing enough, and not supporting the people (albeit financially or socially). The banks and mortgage institutions were already crashing on the brink of total collapse. The auto industry about to flop. Healthcare had been ignored for decades and was about to implode (mainly due to greedy insurance and drug industry companies).
Such intensity, citizens were looking for change...not specific on what they wanted, just a change. Then Obama comes along, and promises change saying that it wont be easy, and it will get worse before it gets better.
America elected Obama. Now he is in office...doing what he said he would and what Americans asked him to do...make changes. And things have gotten worse economy wise, but didnt he say it would? Change is tough, but didnt he say it would be?
Health Care has been changed after how long? Isnt that what Americans asked for? Im not making this up, just review all the pre-election videos--- all the debates, addresses, community out cries. How soon we forget.
If the change does not work, try something different. Atleast he tried to fix it...and not just ignore health care problems and hope it goes away on its own.
Then came the bail-outs for the major companies. Remember how Americans begged for the government to resolve the impending collapse of the American Financial System? Well, they bailed them out, saved them from immediately crashing. He said it wouldnt be easy, but now citizens are complaining about the bail out, and wondering why the government is paying so much attention to the companies they bailed out. I am sure that if banks crashed, we would all be digging into the books of some of these institutions that are supposed to safeguard our money and investments.
Well, since no one wants to take responsibility for their own actions, or be held accountable for the economic downslope, health care, high crime rates, unemployment, and terrorism...let's just blame Obama.
